When Apple releases a new iPad, previews the next version of Mac OS X, and promises a stock dividend all within weeks of each other, we feel obligated to roll out another edition of the Macworld Pundit Showdown. And that’s exactly what we’ve done with this episode of the Macworld Podcast.
I referee a battle between Macworld editorial director Jason Snell, staff writer Lex Friedman, senior contributor Glenn Fleishman, and PCWorld editorial intern Armando Rodriguez, as they answer questions about the latest Mac and iOS news in a battle to see whose punditry reigns supreme.

Show notes
This particular Macworld Pundit Showdown is inspired by playwright and monologist Mike Daisey, whose fabricated reports of abuses at the factories at Apple’s suppliers gave us the green-light to drop our normally rigorous journalistic standards in favor of making up whatever sounded like a good story at the time.
If you’re confused by this odd format, we explain what’s happening in the shownotes for the very first pundit showdown episode. As always, we are indebted to the BBC Radio program Fighting Talk for giving us a format to shamelessly appropriate for our own purposes.
