According to Apple’s retail store Web page, customers who buy a Mac from an Apple retail store can get free RAM. The deal is a limited-time offer.
Through the end of October, customers who purchase any Mac model through Apple’s retail store locations can get an extra 128MB of RAM, for free. The company noted that installation fees may apply.
Since May of this year, Apple has been opening its own retail stores at malls around the country. Locations are now open in the following cities:
The stores showcase Apple’s line of consumer and professional Mac models by highlighting what can be done with them, from editing digital video and music to wireless networking to playing games, and more. The stores are also chock-full of Macintosh application and system software, and a selection of third party accessories designed to work with the Mac.
Locations in Palo Alto, CA, Germantown, TN, and Albany, NY are all scheduled to open soon. More stores are coming, as well.
