Softmagic has announced the release of SendStory 1.0.4, the latest version of its XML text editor and exchange system designed for Mac OS X.
SendStory is the first installment of Softmagic’s cross-media publishing suite for Mac OS X, called Project-M. The software provides editors and writers with a way to exchange formatted content in different languages and regions. SendStory works with iDisk and any TCP/IP networked server to send and receive files structured using XML. It can convert XML to HTML based on a predefined style mapping mechanism, as well.
The new version of SendStory adds a preference option to change markups, and changes the alignment of windows. Other changes in recent versions include speed optimization; automatic TIFF-GIF image conversion when generating HTML; RTF and HTML import; and much more.
SendStory can be downloaded from Softmagic’s Web site.
