Script Debugger 3.0, a Carbonized AppleScript authoring tool for Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X, is now available from Late Night Software.
The successor to the Macworld 2000 Eddy for Best Development Software, Script Debugger 3.0 is a Mac OS X native AppleScript authoring tool that lets you create scripts to automate Mac applications and even the Mac OS. Version 3.0 adds a plethora of new features.
It now supports trace command, break on exceptions, and a script fragment pallet for invoking handlers, modifying open scripts, or experimenting with other applications. Other features facilitate the learning of AppleScript, such as access to local variables and a ground breaking Dictionary Explorer that helps you learn the structure of various applications.
Script Debugger is normally priced at US$199. However, for a limited time you can purchase it online from DevDepot for $30 off. The special price of $169 is good through Oct. 12 at a special discount Web page.
