The Featured Guest on the Mac Show this week is Political cartoonist and Mac fan, Daryl Cagle. He’ll be discussing Macs, art, politics, humor and more, according to host/producer Shawn King.
Tonight’s special guest will be … well, King’s not telling. He says it will be a surprise and that you’ll just have to tune it to learn who the mystery guest is.
On the other hand, we do know that The Mac Show is playing another round of the “What’s My Product?” game. And we know that in the Tech Tips segment (sponsored by Micromat’s Tech Tool Pro 3), Dr. Farallon will answering networking questions.
King will have another segment of Mac Basics. My MacCentral compadre, Peter Cohen, will talk about Mac gaming and Mark Stevens will talk to Steve Martin of DVCreators.net in the Mac Media Pro segment. DVcreators.net is a group of video and film producers who show visitors to their Web site how to get high quality results from their desktop movie studio.
Also, though The Mac Show doesn’t usually announce guests ahead of time (and, obviously, sometimes won’t even tell us the special guest the day of the show), next week’s guest is so important to the Mac Community that they just have to tell everyone he’s on, King said.
On Wednesday, Oct. 17, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak will be on hand for an extra long segment. Want to ask him a question? Send King an e-mail.
You can catch The Mac Show every Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. (Pacific). You can also join in the chat rooms on the World Without Borders site or on the dal.net servers on IRC in the #macshowlive Channel.
