If you’re a member of a MUG (Mac User Group) and plan on taking advantage of the free exhibits only pass to Macworld San Francisco 2002, you better hurry — the special offer expires today.
See your Apple-recognized Macintosh User Group leader to obtain the special discount code, then register online. Warren Williams and Lorene Romero of The User Group Advisory Board, Cathleen Merritt of the Appleworks User Group, and Garr Reynolds, Apple’s User Group Program Manager, along with local MUG members and leaders gave user groups a notable presence at the opening of the Apple Store in Palo Alto, according to Chuck Joiner, editor-in-chief of The MUG Center, the resource site for MUGs.
Macworld San Francisco 2002 will be held at the Moscone Center Jan. 7-11. MUGs (Mac User Groups) are good places for making new friends, finding Mac-loving buddies, boning up your technical expertise, finding solutions to technical problems, and sometimes finding a good deal on used hardware. For more info on MUGs, and to find the location of the one nearest you, go to Apple’s User Group Web page.
