Macintosh Products Guide has been featuring products from their retailer partners in a new section of its Web site called
Hot Deals for some time. Apple partners in the program include CompUSA, J&R, MacZone, Outpost, ClubMac, MacMall, MacConnection and the online Apple Store, as well as CDW,
which was just added earlier today.
Apple today updated its own
Hot Deals Web page, offering two new deals. The first you may have read about earlier today when Apple released the new Titanium PowerBooks. Billed as the “Double for Nothing promotion,” Apple will double the amount of RAM if you order a new PowerBook by December 31, 2001. The RAM will be installed at the factory, so when you get your computer it will be ready to go.
The second Hot Deal available on Apple’s Web site will be of interest to the gamers — especially those that are into The Sims. If you buy The Sims, The Sims: House Party and The Sims: Livin’ Large, you will save $9.95 when purchased directly from Apple.
