Cumulus maker Canto has announced the acquisition of former French distributor NewAge Technology, France. The name of NewAge has been changed to Canto Software France SARL, and former NewAge CEO Pierre Saint Michel takes the role of Director of French Operations.
Canto’s Cumulus is a multimedia data archival system. The software enables users to manage and archive images, layouts, presentations, video, audio and text for various workflows. Cumulus features search functions, customization capabilities, HTML export and much more.
Canto CEO Jennifer Neumann called France a very strategy market for her company. “NewAge Technology has developed deep product knowledge and an intense Digital Asset Management market expertise over the years so that we can be sure that the founding of Canto France will strengthen our global position even more.”
Canto France will focus its efforts on the development of a dealer network for Canto products in France, and it will continue to distribute MultiAd Creator desktop and Creator server technologies.
Canto is headquartered in Berlin, Germany. It also has offices in San Francisco and Tokyo.
