1010TV, a company that specializes in compressing video imagery into QuickTime movies, is featuring a new live Webcast show, “From the Porch,” starting today.
Streamed live using QuickTime, the show features story-telling host, Bilboe MacGuppy, who invites a variety of guests to his show every week. “From the Porch” highlights cowboy poetry, book reading, folklore, local musicians and more. On this week’s show the Hills Brothers Band — local high school musicians, but not your typical band — will perform, Jim Greer of 1010TV told MacCentral.
“The show’s producers expect to expand the Internet channel’s programming to include other hosts on different days of the week who will highlight different topics,” he said. “Viewers are able to interact by email, offering questions, comments or requests for future shows.”
Online viewers will find ” From the Porch ” live every Thursday night at 6 pm (Mountain time) online.
