The ninth annual Macintosh Business Expo is coming to the Washington State Convention & Trade Center in Seattle, WA on October 30. Presented by Apple and The Computer Store, the one-day event has been sponsored by companies including Adobe, Corel, Alias|Wavefront, Epson and Procreate.
Expo participants range from Aladdin Systems to Connectix, Intego to Microtek, MYOB and Wacom, with many in between. The site lists over three-dozen different Mac-related companies expected to exhibit at this year’s event. In addition to the trade show, seminars run continuously from 10 am to 5 pm.
Adobe, Wacom and Apple will run seminars throughout the day on various topics including Adobe’s network publishing initiatives to how to burn a DVD or simplifying small business management. Other vendors, including MYOB and Chromix are also expected to participate. Prizes will be given away, too.
The Macintosh Business Expo kicks off at 9 a.m. with a keynote presentation delivered by Apple senior director of worldwide markets Tony Lee. Lee is expected to highlight the Mac’s advantage for creative and business pros — he’ll also be demonstrating some new Mac OS X-based applications.
The Macintosh Business Expo runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
