Mac users in the Cincinnati, OH area are receiving word from Apple that its new retail store at Kenwood Towne Centre is going to open in a week. The new store is slated to open on Nov. 3 at 10 am.
Kenwood Towne Centre incorporates 180 different specialty stores and three separate anchor stores — Dillard’s, Lazarus and Parisian. Located at exit 12 off I-71, Kenwood Towne Centre is approximately twelve miles north of downtown Cincinnati. As with other Apple Stores, the Kenwood Towne Centre store will feature Apple’s latest hardware and software along with a hundreds of third party software titles and peripherals.
By the time the new Kenwood Towne Centre store opens, Cincinnati will have joined fifteen other locations around the U.S. with Apple retail stores. It’s all a continued effort for Apple to open more than two-dozen stores before year’s end. During a quarterly earnings call with analysts and reporters last week, Apple executives indicated that they hope to have the bulk of the stores all open in time for the holiday shopping season, which officially kicks off following the American Thanksgiving holiday later in November.
