Okay, Toon Boom fans, relax. The Toon Boom Studio-Mac OS X 10.1 fix is here, at least in beta form. The free installer overcomes glitches and offers performance optimization, is available free at the Toon Boom Web site.
As we reported on Oct. 10 Toon Boom Studio, an award-winning animation application for Mac OS X, won’t save files under the latest version of Mac OS X. Toon Boom Studio’s Mac edition was developed by Software MacKiev.
“Software MacKiev’s core expertise in software development for the Mac OS X platform allowed Toon Boom Studio to benefit from all the performance improvements of the new Mac OS X Version 10.1,” said Jacques Bilodeau, Toon Boom’s CEO, in announcing the beta patch. “Software MacKiev has played an instrumental role since the inception of Toon Boom Studio to empower Mac users to immediately take advantage of the best of OS X.”
