Apple’s recently introduced iPod turned out to be the big draw at this mornings Apple store opening in Farmington, CT.
For those of you who have previously attended an opening, you know that once the doors open, the entire store is packed with people. That was not the case Farmington today. The first demonstration at the theater this morning was for the iPod, which attracted the crowd leaving the rest of the store vacant.
Each Apple Store currently has one iPod on hand for demonstration purposes. So, if you’re around one of the stores you may want to pop in for a hands on look at the new digital device.
Approximately 300 people lined up for this mornings opening — Brian Haun made the road trip from Providence, RI with his friend, Brian Bostedo to be first in line at 11:30 pm last night.
Next week Apple plans to open stores at the Kenwood Towne Centre in Cincinnati, OH and in Tice’s Corner, NJ.
