Networking product maker Asanté Technologies has announced their newest line of Gigabit Ethernet switches — the IntraCore 3524 Series. The new line sports flexible connectivity options and can be stacked for simplified network management, as well.
The new switches feature support for Asanté OneView, an integrated management software that enables network administrators to manage the switches through telnet, SNMP or Web browser interfaces. Up to eight switches can be stacked, enabling admins to manage up to 194 ports under a single IP address.
Asanté explained that the IntraCore 3524 Series switches are able to be custom tailored with hardware and software, depending on the needs of the individual network. Copper and fiber GBIC expansion interfaces are available and Gigabit over copper or fiber options are available as well. Fast Ethernet over copper and fiber is also an option.
