Channel 8 Software has released iOrganizer 2, the latest version of its organizational application for the traditional Mac operating system and Mac OS X.
iOrganizer includes an address book, a bookmark list, an event calendar and a download list. It can import contacts, bookmarks, events and download addresses from a variety of formats; search, sort, save and print lists; send e-mail to contacts; open your favorite Web sites in your Web browser; notify you of important events; and download files from FTP or HTTP servers.
The latest version has a simpler, streamlined interface that makes it even easier for users to add and edit contacts, Web addresses and appointments, according to Jim Rodovich, lead project engineer at Channel 8 Software. Users can now print envelopes addressed to contacts and look at calendar thumbnails and view events for only one date. File downloads now transfer considerably faster, especially for broadband users, Rodovich said.
Plus, iOrganizer is now PowerPC native and Mac OS X compatible. Version 2 is available now from Channel 8 Software. Customers can purchase a personal license for US$25 or a business license for $160. Registered users of iOrganizer 1.x can upgrade for $12.
