Mallet and Bare, developers of productivity and utility software, have a new application: Erase The Trail, a file and hard drive management tool. It’s been compared to programs such as Macintosh Explorer and Ghost Hunter, according to MacTech magazine.
Erase the Trail 1.1 offers 100 percent Contextual Menu support, plug-in support, Finder-like commands and shortcuts, and ties to the built-in Apple Help system. It’s a US$10 shareware product. Discounts will be given on later versions (a Mac OS X version is in the works) to registered users.
You can download the full application including Apple Help System and plug-ins, go to or you can download one or more of the items. System requirements are Mac OS 8.6 or later and 10MB of RAM.
