Yenco.com, a Mac shareware company, has updated iEvents to version 1.3. iEvents is a client-side tool for creating custom calendar Web sites that can then be uploaded to any Internet server or iDisk.
“The new version features improved HTML output for single month calendar sites, improved Type 1 Style selection preview, improved Graphite Style and fixes an obscure bug where splash screen would not close,” Mike Yenco of Yenco.com said. “The preview window now updates correctly when switching between single and multi-month calendar settings and there’s updated help documentation.”
In addition to the new Graphite Style included with iEvents 1.3, Yenco.com has released new Ruby, Snow, Indigo and Titanium Styles that can be downloaded from the Web site.
iEvents costs US$20. For more information or to download a demo version, go to the product Web site. iEvents requires Mac OS 8 or later, a PowerPC processor and at least 6MB of RAM. Its software update feature requires the URL Access Scripting addition, which comes with Mac OS 8.6 or later. No word on whether a native Mac OS X version is planned.
