Apple today released an update for Mac OS X called installer Update 1.0.
According to the Software Update application included with Mac OS X 10.1 the Installer Update “delivers improved support for installing software updates and is required for any future Mac OS X updates.”
You can download Installer Update 1.0 via the Software Update application in your System Preferences.
