User Group University will be held on Monday, Jan. 7, on the Apple Campus in Cupertino, CA, just prior to Macworld San Francisco.
User Group University is a conference for leaders of Macintosh User Groups (MUGs). The Jan. 7 schedule and faculty can be found online at the
MUG Center, an online resource for user groups. Classes will cover such topics as “Marketing Your User Group” and “How to Get Young People in Your Group.”
MUGs are good places for making new friends, finding Mac-loving buddies, boning up your technical expertise, finding solutions to technical problems, and sometimes finding a good deal on used hardware. For more info on MUGs, and to find the location of the one nearest you, go to
Apple’s User Group Web page.
