has announced a special deal for registered users of its Graphire and Graphire2 pen tablets. Under the terms of the deal, those users are eligible to receive free riteMail service for three months, as well as a 15 percent discount on the first purchase of any riteMail software for various platforms, including a Macintosh version. With riteMail, users can write, draw or sign e-mail messages using their Graphire tablets.
was developed by Parascrit, LLC to enable users to write an e-mail message, sketch a map or draw diagrams and math equations. The software utilizes riteShape technology, which smoothes freehand geometric shapes like ovals, rectangles and arrows, and allows for quick creation of charts and diagrams.
riteMail supports any e-mail client that works with HTML and Java. The software uses writing tools like a rounded tip pencil and chisel pointed pen, for calligraphic effects. The software also supports customized ink width and color, a stroke eraser and a “liquid paper” tool.
