The university is a conference for leaders of MUGs. The Jan. 7 schedule and faculty can be found online at the MUG Center. Classes will cover such topics as “Marketing Your User Group” and “How to Get Young People in Your Group.”
Macworld San Francisco 2002 is scheduled for Jan. 7-11 at the Moscone Center. For more info, go to the expo Web site. MUGs (Mac User Groups) are good places for making new friends, finding Mac-loving buddies, boning up your technical expertise, finding solutions to technical problems, and sometimes finding a good deal on used hardware. For more info on MUGs, and to find the location of the one nearest you, go to Apple’s User Group Web page.
