Now that Apple CEO Steve Jobs has moved his Macworld San Francisco keynote up a day, there’s been a slight change to User Group University, the semi-annual conference for Macintosh User Group (MUG) leaders.
It will still take place as scheduled — on Jan. 7 — but has been relocated to the San Francisco Marriott, near the Moscone Center. The User Group University schedule has been redesigned to allow attendees to watch the keynote live at the Moscone Center or via video feed at the San Francisco Marriott (for User Group University attendees only), according to Chuck Joiner, editor of The Mug Center an online resource for Mac user groups.
Because of the relocation, registration has been re-opened for an additional, but limited, number of attendees. Registration had previously been closed due to exceeded capacity. Details, including links for registration and the redesigned schedule, are available on The MUG Center.
