Say hello to URLomatic, a shareware tool from the folks at Code 66. The software is designed to assist Webmasters who have URLs on their servers that need to be called to perform some kind of maintenance functionality on the server, like backups or cleanups.
Developed in the REALbasic environment from Real Software, URLomatic 1.1 is available for both the classic Mac operating system and Mac OS X. With version 1.1, it can access URLs that are REALM-protected if you provide a username and password for that REALM.
You can download an unregistered version that’s limited; it won’t work properly in a production environment, but is purportedly good enough for evaluation purposes. Registering URLomatic costs US$15 for a single user.
