Strata Software said that it plans to demonstrate the latest release of Strata 3Dpro v3.6 Rich Media Edition (RME) at next month’s Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco, Calif. The company also plans to introduce localized language versions of Strata 3D in Japanese, German and French.
Strata 3Dpro is a 3D modeling, rendering and animation package designed for professional artists, designers and illustrators. Strata 3Dpro v3.6 RME includes the ability to export 3D vector graphics for Macromedia Flash, Adobe LiveMotion and Adobe Illustrator.
Strata president Dennis Derrick said that his company is thrilled to participate in next month’s Macworld Expo event. Derrick also noted that the Mac community is known for its industry-leading graphic designers.
“Strata 3Dpro is essential gear for any designer who creates rich media for the Internet. We look forward to showing it off to our users, the press and potential customers attending the show,” said Derrick.
Minimum system requirements for Strata 3D Pro v3.6 RME call for a PowerPC based Mac; Mac OS 8.6 or higher; QuickTime 3.0 or higher; 128MB RAM; 125MB free disk space; OpenGL 1.1.2 or higher; OpenTransport; 800×600 resolution. The software carries a suggested retail price of US$895, and academic discounts and upgrades from previous versions of Strata3D are also available.
