The list of planned Demo Days events and locations nationwide for the month of April has gotten longer as Apple’s retail marketing arm, MarketSource Corp., is looking for additional Mac demonstrators for events at CompUSA, Circuit City and Micro Center for the month of April.
Potential Demo Days participants have received over the past few days e-mails with an expanded list of open slots still available. “We are looking for qualified Apple enthusiasts interested in helping Apple’s efforts in retail stores,” the letter stated. “This will be a great opportunity to work with the new computers and technology Apple has announced in the last two months. If you are interested, please follow the directions below.”
Information on the expanded locations is not available through the official Demo Day representative Web site, although the site does acknowledge the expanded event dates.
MarketSource is looking for additional Mac demonstrators for March 10, March 11 and April 22 at some 50 unmanned Circuit City locations. In addition, two Micro Center locations in California and Illinois are available for April 7, and over 125 CompUSA locations are still vacant for reps on April 1 and 8.
Compensation will be US$75.00 for each Demo Day worked, paid upon receipt of an electronic status report. Work hours are from 12 pm to 5 pm, local time.
