After an extensive public beta test process, Softobe has announced the final version release of FoldersSynchronizer 2.0. FoldersSynchronizer is a backup and archival utility for the Mac.
As the name implies, FoldersSynchronizer is designed to enable Mac users to synchronize the contents of folders from one disk to another. The software simplifies the process of making sure you’ve got exact duplicates of important folders or disks. The software can also be used to backup folders and disks, too.
According to the developers, FoldersSynchronizer 2.0 adds the following features: x2 faster than 1.X versions. Drag and drop. Background running mode. Resolves aliases. Up to 8 lists for each area available by pop-up menu. 4MB of free RAM only. Never need to increase the application memory. Never. Saves and Opens “Configuration Files” and configure all the FS options. Drag the Configuration Files on the console and configure all the FS options. Fully supports Mac Appearances. Distributed as shareware, FoldersSynchronizer 2.0 costs US$30 to register. FoldersSynchronizer 2.0 requires a PowerPC-equipped Mac, Mac OS 8.1 to 9.1, 4MB of available RAM, and 1MB of free HD space.
