TS.Ready 4.0 features a Web browser-based user interface, and now sports integrated support for Tally’s own Census Recognition Technology, which helps system managers and admins maintain accurate software distributions and updates.
TS.Ready 4.0 also sports new features developed specifically for mobile laptop computer users, including dynamic bandwidth control, incremental info transfer, checkpoint restart, background operation, and secure authentication and encryption.
With an entirely new browser-based user interface and integration of Tally Systems’ patented Census Recognition Technology (TM), TS.Ready 4.0 includes new features that simplify management and maximize productivity of mobile workers with intermittent connections to corporate networks.
Other new features include support for server administration through Oracle 8, enhanced graphical reporting, and support for new operating systems including Linux and Mac OS.
According to Tally product manager Joanne Egner, TS.Ready is great for remote users who need to keep systems running reliably when they have limited connectivity to the office network.
“TS.Ready 4.0 gets [mobile users] what they need, when they need it – whether its a daily distribution of a business-critical pricing list in Excel, or self-healing a broken PowerPoint installation before a big presentation without having to go fishing for a CD or connecting to the network,” said Egner.
TS.Ready 4.0 is available in site license increments; the price depends on the number of users covered. For more information, visit Tally Systems’ Web site.
