Final Cut Pro and Mac OS X classes are being offered, though not by the same folks or even in the same country.
Henninger Education Center (HEC) — one of the nation’s largest video, film and new media services providers — will hold its first Advanced Final Cut Pro class March 28-29 in the Washington metropolitan area.
Final Cut Pro is Apple’s high-end video editing application, a self-contained post-production studio solution that enables users to create independent video productions. Cost for the Advanced Final Cut Pro course will be US$695. Students will be registered on a first-come, first-serve basis. For more info on the course, go to the HEC Web site.
Meanwhile, in the UK, Apple has announced a series of partners that will supply Mac OS X training. The partners — which include Micro Anvika, Scotsys and Creative Graphics — will offer hands-on Mac OS X courses after its launch on March 24, according to Macworld UK .
Training events will be available at various locations, including Middlesex, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Courses will also be available in London, Hove, Sheffield, Reading and Ireland.
