Blue Line Studios has announced the release of LogotypeMaker 2.0 Pro for the Mac. The new version can be downloaded from links on Blue Line’s Web site.
LogotypeMaker is designed to typeset a text string using all of the user’s activated fonts. That way, graphics professionals can help to decide on what typefaces are appropriate when creating a logotype. The software supports the ability to save a PostScript file which can then be opened in Illustrator of Freehand.
LogotypeMaker 2.0 incorporates numerous improvements, including:
System requirements include a PowerPC-equipped Mac, 12MB RAM; and System 7 through Mac OS 9. Blue Line Studios offers a working demo that expires after 24 uses. The demo can be unlocked by paying the US$25 registration fee; upgrades from version 1.x are also available for $10.
