Intego has released a new version of NetBarrier, its personal Internet firewall software for Macs. The new version, 2.0.3, is ready for download from Intego’s Web site.
NetBarrier has been developed to provide a wall of defense between the Mac and the Internet. The software incorporates three modules — Firewall, Antivandal, and Internet Filter — to make it more difficult for prying eyes to gain access to your Internet-connected Mac.
Changes in NetBarrier 2.0.3 include:
System requirements for NetBarrier 2.0.3 call for a PowerPC-equipped Mac; Mac OS 8.1 or later (Mac OS X support is expected later this year); Open Transport; 16 MB RAM; 5 MB free disk space; Internet Config software; 800×600 resolution or higher.
As an alternative to the download link below, current NetBarrier users can also use the NetUpdate feature to secure the latest version.
