Connectivity hardware maker Asante Technologies has announced the release of Mac OS X drivers for its 10/100 and Gigabit Ethernet adapters.
Asante says it’s the first network company to officially support the new OS; the company has introduced OS X-compatible drivers for its GigaNIX PCI 1000TA coard and its AsanteFast 10/100 PCI adapters. The new drivers are ready for download now.
Asante’s Mac OS technical manager Judy McKay said that the company has invested lots of testing time to make sure the cards work correctly with Mac OS X.
“We’re pleased to offer driver support to the new Mac operating system so our customers will be ready when Apple ships Mac OS X on March 24,” said McKay.
