Apple has released a number of firmware updates for recently released Macintoshes; all of them are available for download from Apple’s
Software Downloads Web site.
Systems affected by the firmware update include:
Power Mac G4 Cubes equipped with AGP graphics Power Mac G4s and Macintosh Server G4 models equipped with AGP graphics iMacs with slot-loading DVD or CD drives PowerBooks with built-in FireWire iBooks with built-in FireWire In all cases, the systems need to be running Mac OS 9.1 in order for the firmware update to function. The new firmware updates universally incorporate improvements to:
