Bitstream releases new collection of 200-plus fonts

Bitstream Inc. has released a 200-font collection of original and classic fonts for Macintosh and Windows in TrueType and PostScript formats.

The Cambridge Collection, at US$125, includes many Bitstream originals, such as Bitstream Amerigo and Bitstream Chianti; fun fonts, such as Mister Earl and Staccato 222; and elegant typefaces, such as Lucia and Park Avenue.

The Cambridge Collection comes with 200 fonts, including display faces and families of text faces, selected from Bitstream’s world-class typeface library.

The Cambridge Collection includes:

Bitstream originals, such as Bitstream Amerigo, Bitstream Arrus, Bremen Black, Bitstream Charter, Bitstream Chianti, Bitstream Iowan Old Style, Oranda, and Prima.

Elegant script faces, such as English 111 Vivace, Freehand 521, Kaufmann, Liberty, Lucia, Murray Hill, Park Avenue, and Piranesi Italic.

A variety of striking display faces, such as Bank Gothic, Poster Bodoni, Davida Bold, Mister Earl, Staccato 222, Stencil, and Umbra.

Extensive font families, including Futura, Gothic 720, and Serifa.
