The P-400 Business Edition is a low-cost, high-speed dye-sublimation printer for professional/amateur photographers and digital imaging professionals, the company said. The biggest difference over the standard P-400 is its ability to print 150 full-size (A4) sheets, and the One Year Priority Exchange Service.
The printer uses 16.7 million colors (8-bits per color), with a megapixel print engine resolution of 7.68. It prints a 7.64-inch x 10-inch image on an A4-size (8.25-inch x 11.7-inch) photo paper in 90 seconds.
The P-400 BE can connect via the USB port to any USB-compatible Mac. Users can also print images through the printer’s SmartMedia Card slot to print DCF, JFIF/JPEG or TIFF photos taken with a digital camera. There’s also the option of utilizing the PC Card slot for printing PCMCIA cards, or PC Card adapters for CompactFlash Type I and II and Memory Stick products.
The P-400 BE offers a range of output options: full-size, single-sheet photo album, postcard, or index sheet with up to 260 pictures.
A One Year Priority Exchange Service Program provides a replacement or loaner printer overnight to ensure uninterrupted use. Also included is access to a toll-free technical and service support line.
