Apple and digital media training company Future Media Concept Inc. has planned six digital media symposiums for three locations in the eastern U.S. for February and March.
The US$180, four-hour seminar is geared toward Web masters, Web designers, video directors and editors and “anyone interested in delivering content onto the Web,” and will be an overview of today’s technology used by Web creators.
The Symposium includes keynote speaker John Geyer, vice president of Media 100, breakout rooms and an exhibit area including local resellers, placement companies, and manufacturers representatives. Demonstrations will include a wide range of Apple, Adobe and Macromedia software.
One breakout room will focus on QuickTime streaming, live Webcasting and Final Cut Pro. A second breakout room will discuss the uses of Macromedia Director, Dreamweaver and Flash, while another will discuss Adobe software including GoLive 5, PhotoShop 6 and Premiere 6.
Vendors in the exhibits area will include local organizations, vendors of training, hardware and software, Terran Interactive, The Toolfarm, Mass Media Alliance, PWR Systems and more.
There will be two symposiums in Boston on February 17 at 9:30am and 2:30pm, two at the same times in New York City on March 3, and two at the same times in Philadelphia on March 10.
