With Knockout, users can mask complex objects, such as smoke, glass, water and shadows, in a fraction of the time — preserving fine details that were once impossible to mask precisely, according to the company. With this version you will be able to explore the features and the Aqua look of the program, but you will not be able to save or export.
System requirements for KnockOut include a Macintosh G3 or G4 CPU; Mac OS X or higher; Hard drive with Mac OS extended partition; 128MB RAM, plus enough hard drive space to provide virtual memory of 5X image size (8X recommended); and 24-bit color display adapter.
Corel also wants to hear from Mac users to let the company know how they are doing with their Mac products.
“We’re committed to giving our Mac customers the best software experience possible and we welcome your suggestions about how we can accomplish our goal. To let us know about your experience with these and other Corel products for the Mac, please e-mail onthemac@corel.com.”
