John Brochu has released an update to his popular calculator software for the Mac, CalcWorks. The new version, 1.7.2, is ready for download from the Brochu Shareware Web site.
CalcWorks is a professional, customizable calculator program that features scientific and binary math modes, algebraic or RPN operation, conversion functions, multiple memory functions, and many other features, including a 3D color interface with customizable patterns and colors to match any flavor of Mac.
The newest version, 1.7.2, sports updated currency conversion to reflect the latest exchange rates.
CalcWorks is distributed as US$15 shareware. System requirements call for a Mac Plus or better; System 6.0.5 or higher; and about 300K of available RAM. Certain features require System 7 or better and color support.
Other Brochu Software products include Minuet, a Control Strip-based CD player, and TapPad, a product for Palm OS-based PDA users.
