Desktop publishing software giant Quark Inc. plans to use next month’s MagazineTech 2001 trade show in New York to unveil QuarkCopyDesk Special Edition (SE).
QuarkCopyDesk SE is a stand-alone text processing and editing application designed to meet the needs of professional writers and editors, according to Quark. Quark indicates that the new application provides users with control over textual elements without the overhead needed by a full suite of design and production tools.
QuarkCopyDesk SE will require Mac OS 7.6.1 or later, a PowerPC-based Mac; CD-ROM drive; 8MB of free RAM and 14MB free HD space. Adobe Type Manager is also required for the accurate display of Type 1 fonts.
