Totally Hip Software will release a cross platform version of LiveStage Professional, its QuickTime authoring environment software, this spring. The application allows users to apply interactivity with special effects and professional tweening to all the media types supported by QuickTime in addition to the enhanced wired sprite capability.
The new version of LiveStage Professional 3 utilizing QuickTime 5 will operate on Windows 98/NT/2000/ME and a corresponding upgrade for the current Macintosh version will also include support for the new Apple OS X operating system scheduled to ship on March 24. Both the Windows and Macintosh versions of LiveStage Professional 3 are scheduled to be available this spring, according to David Dicaire, CEO and president of Totally Hip.

Suggested retail pricing for LiveStage Professional 3 will be US $899.95. Current registered users of LiveStage Professional 2 will be able to upgrade to version 3 for $199.95 or purchase an additional Windows license for $499.95.
