announced Friday a new version of its automated backup software,
QuickSync, now compatible with non-Iomega storage drives.
QuickSync 3 can automatically copy files that are moved or saved on one drive to another using a scheduled backup system. The PC version of QuickSync 3 is expected to be available March 2 in the U.S. for US$19.95. A Mac version is planned for later this year, the company said.
QuikSync 3 features a setup “wizard” leading users through a simple setup process, automatic copying, multiple folder copying, and filtering by file type.
