Apple has posted Disc Burner 1.01. The update adds support for additional third-party CD recorders.
Disc Burner is the Apple software that enables users of CD-R drives to master CDs using desktop icons, rather than having to rely on a separate application interface. The software was first unveiled at Macworld Expo in San Francisco last month. Disc Burner’s initial release only supported the new CD-RWs and DVD-R drives available in Apple’s new Power Mac G4 and iMac lines.
Disc Burner 1.0.1 provides added support for various third-party CD-R drives, making it possible for users of older Macs to have the same functionality.
