Following up on the redesign of its iMac case, the Cube case is the first of a new line of Apple desktop component cases, Willow’s Nigel Peck told MacCentral.
“The Cube case features superb, compartmentalized protection for the Cube, power supply, speakers, keyboard, mouse and accessories — in a case small and light enough for anyone to carry,” he said. “All components are protected by internal, adjustable plastic dividers allowing them to fit in the smallest possible space. Carrying comfort is assured by a thickly padded wrap handle, and padded contoured shoulder carry strap.”
The case’s luggage feet are riveted through the hardboard bottom of the case and keep it up and off the ground when you want to set it down. And the Willow Cube Case is small enough to fit as on-board luggage. However, you might have a problem if it’s weighed as some airlines are now placing limits on the maximum weight any individual on-board luggage item can weigh.
The Cube carry case weights 3.5 pounds and costs US$110. It’s covered a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee and lifetime guarantee against defects in materials and craftsmanship, Nigel adds.
