Now you see it, now you don’t, now you do. Illustrator 9.0.2 appeared, then disappeared from Adobe’s servers without explanation. Now it’s back — or was, when last we peeked.
The update to the popular illustration package was designed to fix an issue for G4 users that caused the Add Anchor Point tool to sometimes incorrectly place points on a curve. It also fixed two issues that caused problems with file save when duplicate brushes were deleted prior to saving.
Illustrator 9.0.2 also includes plug-ins to increase compatibility with importing and exporting Photoshop 6.0 files. To use it, you’ll need Mac OS 8.5 or higher, a Power Mac, and Illustrator 9.
