Adobe offers free 'Total Inspiration' seminar

Adobe doesn’t want you to merely get inspired, they want you to get “totally” inspired. That’s why they’re offering a free seminar showcasing their print and Web technologies, which include Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, GoLive, LiveMotion, and Acrobat. According to Adobe, participants will learn how to:

Make the most of Photoshop 6.0 with its new vector drawing support, streamlined user interface, flexible text options, and layer styles;

Turn Illustrator 9.0 print graphics into Web-ready assets in GIF, JPEG, SVG, or Flash formats;

Design pages in InDesign using typographical controls and other creativity features;

Produce Adobe PDF files from InDesign for high-end print production or for posting on the Web;

Convert Photoshop comps and other assets into working Web pages that jumpstart development in GoLive;

Use LiveMotion to create interactive, animated Flash (SWF) content from your assets;

The seminar will be held from 1-5 pm at the following times and dates: Columbus, Feb. 1; New York City, Feb. 1; Phoenix, Feb. 1; Boston, Feb. 6; Minneapolis, Feb. 6; Orlando, Feb. 6; Atlanta, Feb. 8; Warren/Detroit, Feb. 8; Chicago, Feb. 14; Dallas, Feb. 15; Reston, Feb. 15; Miami, Feb. 20; Los Angeles, Feb. 21; Paramus, Feb. 21; San Francisco, Feb. 22; Nashville, Feb. 27; Austin, March 1; and Denver, March 1. Registration starts at 12:30 p.m.
