Some Dreamweaver users are experiencing various problems with the Web development product and the new Mac OS 9.1. Macromedia is investigating the issues, Eric Ott, Dreamweaver Product Manager at Macromedia told MacCentral. The problems are discussed in a lengthy thread on the MacFixIt site.
“The Dreamweaver team is actively researching the compatibility problems between Mac OS 9.1 and Dreamweaver 4,” he said. “The problems have not been reproducible in the Dreamweaver QA lab, but we are working with the few customers that have reported this bug to recreate the environment where these issues occur. If a problem is found, the issue and resolution will be documented by Macromedia Technical Support and posted as a tech note on the Macromedia Web site.”
Those experiencing problems should keep an eye on the Dreamweaver Support Center for future announcements related to this issue, Ott said.
