Already, two Ritual titles have made it to the Mac: Sin Gold, published by MacPlay, and Heavy Metal: FAKK 2, published by Gathering of Developers.
“Things are going well and we are busy working on our next title which happens to be using an updated version of our FAKK2 tech and [Quake 3 Arena],” said Atkins. “With that said, Mac-heads have nothing to worry about. Heavy Metal and Sin Gold are just two examples of the types of products Ritual Entertainment has planned for to the PC and Macintosh in the future.”
Dimant and Dochtermann have left the game developer to start Myth III: The Wolf Age for developer Mumbo Jumbo.
Dochtermann seems to be an enthusiastic Mac supporter. He was part of MacPlay’s entourage at Macworld Expo in San Francisco earlier this month, and spoke well of Apple’s new hardware and the forthcoming Mac OS X, as well. Dimant founded the new MacPlay last fall, in addition to his duties at Mumbo Jumbo.
