Weighing in at 7.9 pounds and measuring 20.6 x 12.4 x 17.5 inches, the case is compartmentalized to fit everything as compactly as possible and still offer “superb protection,” according to Nigel Peck of Willow. He said there are a multitude of dividers to separate the Cube, Flat Panel Display, power supply, speakers, mouse, keyboard, cables, paperwork, and other work items.
The case is made of polyester and nylon fabric with 1/2-inch foam protection throughout, reinforced on the five upper sides by corrugated plastic. The screen side features three sandwiched layers of plastic for extra rigidity to further isolate the display. The case bottom is 1/4-inch hardboard with riveted luggage feet to keep the case up and off the ground.
You can tote the case by using two-inch wrap handles or two “grab handles” designed to make it easier to fit the case in and out of cars. They can also be used to share the load with a second person. There’s also a quick release strap on the back to secure the case to a handcart. The Cube-display carrying case costs US$220.
