Shawn King, host-producer of Your Mac Life, the Internet show about all things Mac, and Brendan Schilling, an Apple regional manager, will be guest speakers at MacFeast 2003. The event, which is designed to be “the largest dinner banquet of Mac enthusiasts in the US,” will be held Saturday, June 14, at Cerritos College in Norwalk, California.
A chuckwagon style barbecue dinner will be held at 7 p.m. But before the food and the guest speakers, there will be a vendor fair from 3-7 p.m. The evening will also include “Who Wants to be a Mac-Millionaire?,” a parody of the TV game show. A few MacFeast attendees will participate in a Mac trivia contest. Any contestants who answer all 15 questions correctly will win a new iMac, courtesy of LA Computer Company and MacFeast 2003.
Tickets for MacFeast are US$29.95, which includes admission to the vendor expo, the meal, and a door prize drawing. Seating is limited, so you’ll need to register in advance online at the MacFeast Web site (use invitation code NP-1). There’ll be no on-site or “at the door” admission.
