Circus Ponies Software Inc. has released NoteBook 1.0, an outlining, note-taking, clipping, and free-form database product that’s Mac OS X. Only.
Circus Ponies NoteBook, which has a list price of US$99.95, lets Mac OS X users clip, organize, and share unstructured information from any source. The application uses a notebook interface for media capture, multi-dimensional indexing, and inter-application clipping services.
Notebook offers user-definable page styles and transparent tabs; annotation with customizable stickers, keywords, and highlighting; customizable page styles and user preferences; integrated inspectors; dynamic indexing; “Super-Find” searching based on any attribute (even file type, highlighting, or stickers); direct import from digital cameras; Media Frame tools for image handling and video playback; drag-and-drop page bundles; and the ability to export to XML, RTF, OPML, and TXT.
