Apple on Wednesday lowered the price of its eMac all-in-one computer for the company’s education customers. Starting at US$779, the price cuts affect the entire line of eMac computers.
The eMac is available in three configurations: the low-end model comes with a 700MHz PowerPC G4; 128MB SDRAM; 40GB Ultra ATA drive; Combo drive; and a 56K internal modem. The mid-range model comes with an 800MHz PowerPC G4; 256MB SDRAM; 60GB Ultra ATA drive; SuperDrive; and a 56K internal modem. The high-end model is equipped with an 800MHz PowerPC G4; 512MB SDRAM; 60GB Ultra ATA drive; SuperDrive; 56K internal modem; and an eMac Tilt & Swivel Stand.
